  • Go - - Hard
  • Ju - - Soft
  • Karate-dō - 空手道 - The way of the empty hand
  • Karate-Ka - 空手家 - A student of Karate-dō
  • Gi / Dogi - / 道衣 - White training uniform

At the Start of Class:
